When things keep on disappearing…
Strange things happen in dustman Paul Beechinor’s terraced council home. He keeps losing things. And he’s a worried man. For he believes they may have been spirited away by poltergeists. For two years things like transistor radios, hammers and other everyday things have been vanished in his three-bedroomed home in Rudmore Park, Lower Weston, Bath. Some of them have reappeared in different places three or four months later.
Father of six, Mr Beechinor has considered calling in a local vicar to exorcise his home. “But I have decided to cancel this for the moment to find out a bit more about it,” he said. “I haven’t a clue what might be happening as I have lost countless bits of stuff. The chap who lived in the house before me was complaining about this as well, it’s baffling.”
A Bath City Council spokesman said: “We have no knowledge of anything like this at this house. It is really up to Mr Beechinor what he does. He has to live there.”
