Ghost girl’s pledge.
Jumpy Jackie Hamilton yesterday vowed not to let ghosts drive her from her home. The young mum has called in spook experts after strange goings-on in her council house. She’s had electrical appliances switching themselves on and off, and ornaments moving. Jackie, of Skene Street, Bonnybridge, Stirlingshire, said: “I’ve been scared out of my wits, but I’m determined to stay.”
Friends and neighbours back her claims and paranormal expert Malcolm Robinson said: “This house is genuinely haunted.”
The house is built on an 1820 battle site.

Ghost coffin spooks mum.

A young mum who vowed not to let ghosts drive her out has packed up and fled her haunted house. Jackie Hamilton, 21, said yesterday: “I thought I could stay, but it just gets worse. I’m petrified and my child has nightmares.”
Jackie, of Skene Street, Bonnybridge, Stirlingshire, has been complaining about ghosts in her council house for four months. She blamed them for electrical appliances switching on and off, cupboards banging and ornaments moving. But the chiller that sent her on her way was the appearance of a white COFFIN in her four-year-old son Gary’s room.
“The cupboards started banging and he woke up and saw this coffin in his room,” said Jackie. “He’s afraid to go to bed now.” Jackie, who’s now staying with her parents, has applied to Falkirk District’s housing department for a move.
