Mysterious Fires at Mellifont Rectory.
The most curious stories are being told of a number of fires which broke out at Mellifont Rectory on Sunday last, and the general opinion of the neighbours, who rendered every assistance, was that they were of strange, if not supernatural, origin. Just as one outbreak had been subdued in one part of the premises, another appeared elsewhere, and this, it is alleged, occurred several times, and the apparently spontaneous combustion completely mystified the fire fighters.
