House Stoned.
The Karachi Police are literally baffled at the 17-day long mysterious phenomenon of stone throwing on the corrugated tin sheet roofs of the residence of Mr Gulam Nabi, Administrative Officer in the Central Intelligence Bureau, Government of Pakistan. These stones which are mostly pebbles, charcoal pieces were first dropped on the roofs of the kitchen and other rooms of Mr Gulam Nabi’s house on April 29 and with a lapse of three days till yesterday they are still pelting the house.
For some days now, the Karachi Police have posted plain clothes men on the roofs of neighbouring houses and around the ‘victimised’ house to find out where these stones came. All the watchers have so far failed to locate the origin of the stones.
