Shower of Stones.
Eerie Midnight Experience for Indian Hotel Guests.
A mysterious rain of stones falls on the roof of a little hotel in Galle, Ceylon, for an hour each night. Exactly at midnight the pelting of stones begins. Sometimes they patter on the roof in rapid succession, sometimes at measured intervals.
Watchers with powerful flashlights waited night after night, but they could obtain no clue. The hail of stones went on. One watcher, however, swears that he saw an apparition, which vanished when he approached.
Since watchers were of no avail exorcists have been called to cast out the “evil spirits” blamed for the showers, but still they go on. – Reuter.
