Brandy Station, Virginia, U.S.A. (1890)

The same journal [Golden Gate] gives an account of occurrences at Brady Station [sic] (Va.), U.S.A. On the plantation of John W. Brooks has taken place since last September that mysterious stone-throwing of which so many instances are recorded in the history of Spiritualism. The stones apparently came through the window, but the glass was not broken; they fell frequently during five months, were warm in temperature, some as large as hen’s eggs. On one occasion the children were pulling walnuts; their mother called them to the house, and they left the walnuts under the tree. “Not ten minutes after they entered the walnuts came flying in through the open door, and fell on the floor in a shower.”
