Bakery Ghost has the night shift in a bit of a tizzy!
A noisy ghost has closed a bakery night shift – because girl workers are afraid to work after dark. The trouble began when girls at the Regency Patisserie in Burntwood heard something go bang in the night. They supposed that some slates had slipped off the roof and thought no more of it. But that all changed when they heard something resembling footsteps, and something being dragged across the floor in the above loft.
There were other inexplicable happenings such as cakes falling to the floor, a glass sailing across the room and smashing against a wall, and a radio switching itself off. The girls were so disturbed that they have stopped working nights, and are doing a twilight shift instead.
