Spiritual phenomena in China.
Sir, Allow me to bring before the attention of your readers the following interesting extracts concerning China, in a new work by Archdeacon Grey, of Hong Kong:-

“On the 14th of July, 1872, my attention was called to a house in the Yan-wo-lu-street, of the Wong-sha district of the western suburb of Canton. The doors were literally crowded with persons of both sexes, and of all ages, attracted by the report that the house was bewitched. On entering I found the inmates in a state of terror. On the floor of the first hall were scattered broken vases and pots, which, but a short time before, had been cast from their places by an invisible agency.”
