Strange story from Pretoria.
Cape Town, October 13.
Remarkable ghost stories are reported from a farmer living ten miles from Pretoria. Stones have been flung into the house apparently through the walls, while a spiritualist who attempted to lay the “ghost” was thrown to the floor. A Malay is now exorcising the spirits. He has chalked characters on the doors and windows, burnt herbs, and announced that the spook would come once more. This prediction was fulfilled last night, but the visitation passed off quietly.
