John, 18, gets a spirited welcome.
Police have been called in to investigate a series of strange goings on at a Berkshire home. There have been bumps in the night, doors open when they should be closed, and objects inexplicably moved around the house in Green Lane, Thatcham. Things came to a head early today when 18-year-old John Baldwin arrived home after a night out and put his key in the lock to let himself in. The bunch of keys flew out of his hand and vanished and John, who was badly shaken, went to the police station to report what had happened. The frightened teenager also told the police of the series of strange happenings that have been going on recently at the house. He has arrived home to find the locked patio door wide open, the loft door has been found askew, without any apparent explanation, and glasses have mysteriously moved from one part of the room to another. And he has been hearing strange noises in the night…
